Spina Research and Consulting (SRC) is a boutique nonprofit consulting firm specializing in grant writing, research and technical assistance  to nonprofits. SRC provides the following core services, in addition to assisting with grant applications: (1) grant research and eligibility assessments, (2) grant trend reports, and (3) grant growth strategy consulting. Since founded in 2021, SRC has assisted in the authorship of over $30 million in winning grant applications. 

Alyssa Spina, CEO and founder, is a grants specialist assisting nonprofits with writing, editing, and reviewing grants. She is also expert at working with an organization’s key leadership, its stakeholders, and the Board of Directors to conduct grant growth strategy planning. Alyssa has been writing grants for five years and has helped raise millions in investments to improve the health and wellbeing for underserved populations. 

She has more than a decade of experience working with nonprofits and regularly serves on nonprofit boards. Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Industrial and Labor Relations with minors in Inequality Studies and Law & Society. She also has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in nonprofit management from American University.
